If You Give a Move Your Attention

If you give a move your attention, you’ll probably start looking for it.
If you start looking for it, you’ll begin to notice where it shows up.
And if you notice where it shows up, you’ll find yourself getting there a little more often.
When you get there more often, you’ll start trying to connect it to something.
Sometimes that works.
Sometimes it doesn’t.
When it doesn’t, you start to see why.
And once you see why, you’ll want to make an adjustment.
And if you make an adjustment, you might find a different way in.
Or a different way out.
Or something else that connects to it entirely.
And if you start seeing those connections, it’s not just one move anymore.
It starts to become a few things that make sense together.
Not every time.
But enough that you recognize it when it’s happening.
And once you recognize it, you start to trust it.
And once you trust it, you tighten up your transitions.
When you tighten up your transitions, you find more success.
When you find more success, you start to see it everywhere.
And once you start to see it everywhere… it’s hard to unsee.
And once it’s hard to unsee…
You might give a move more attention.
See you on the mats.
